About the Course
This training focuses on safeguarding the food supply chain from intentional adulteration, sabotage, and economically motivated fraud. It equips participants with knowledge to identify threats, assess vulnerabilities, and build robust prevention systems based on global best practices.
Training shall broadly cover:
- Introduction to food defence and food fraud concepts
- Threat and vulnerability assessment techniques
- Mitigation strategies and monitoring controls
- Legal and regulatory expectations
- Developing an integrated food defence and fraud prevention plan
Prerequisites:
No prerequisites. Basic food safety knowledge recommended.
